Storage space (photos, receipts, website images)

How much storage you have

1. Every active branch includes 5 GB of file storage. Two branches = 10 GB, three = 15 GB.
2. Need more? Buy Extra storage in blocks of 10 GB for USD 5 / month each, billed with your plan.
3. Only files count: work photos, receipts and claim / MC photos, website and product images, kept import files. Sales, customers, appointments and every other record in the database never count.

See what uses the space

1. Open Settings → Storage. The bar shows used / total, split into Work photos, Receipts & documents, Website images, Product images, Import files and Other.
2. By branch shows how much each branch keeps; website images and staff documents are shop-wide.
3. Largest files lists the biggest files. Work photos, website and product images and leftover files can be deleted there; receipts, claims and leave documents are kept as records.

Add or remove storage

1. In Storage choose the number of 10 GB blocks with − / + and press Buy storage (or Change blocks). Remove all blocks stops them. Changes are prorated.
2. Not subscribed yet? Tick Extra storage in Plan & billing when you subscribe.
3. Buying storage is only in the web owner portal, never in the apps.

When storage gets full

1. At 80 % and 95 % a banner appears on the owner dashboard and the owner gets an e-mail (Settings → Notifications → Storage almost full).
2. At 100 % you still get a 5 % grace. Above that, new uploads (photos, receipts, website images) are refused with a message until you delete files or add storage.
3. Nothing is ever deleted for you, existing files stay readable, and the POS, checkout and everything without photos keep working.
4. Photos are resized and compressed automatically when they are uploaded, so space lasts longer.
