AI assistant: connect your own AI key

What the AI assistant does

1. Press the floating AI assistant button. It answers "how do I…" questions from these help articles — this works even without a key (as plain search).
2. With your own AI key it can also edit your website draft: every change is shown first and needs Apply. It never publishes; to undo, restore an earlier version in Website & online booking → Appearance & pages → History.
3. It can also suggest the column mapping when you import customers.

Connect your own AI key

1. Open Settings → AI assistant (owner only).
2. Choose the provider: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini).
3. Create an API key at platform.openai.com, console.anthropic.com or aistudio.google.com and paste it.
4. Optional: set a monthly spend cap. Save.

Costs and subscriptions

1. A ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro or Gemini app subscription does NOT work — you need an API key from the provider's developer site.
2. Usage is billed by the provider directly to your account with them, not by Senvia POS.
