StoreHub is a well-known Malaysian POS used by restaurants, retailers and service businesses across Southeast Asia. Senvia POS is a cloud POS and business-management system made specifically for appointment-based beauty and wellness businesses such as salons, spas, nail studios and aesthetics clinics.
If you run a service business in Malaysia you may be weighing the two. This page compares them using Senvia's own product facts and information from StoreHub's official website and help centre, checked on 9 October 2026. Features compared
Booking
- Senvia: calendar per staff member and room, drag and drop, 24/7 online booking on the shop's own website, optional deposits on the shop's own Stripe account and customer self-reschedule within shop rules. E-mail reminders are included, plus free WhatsApp assistive reminders from the shop's own WhatsApp number.
- StoreHub: its service page covers custom service menus with pricing, duration and availability, and automated reminders source. We did not find an appointment calendar or online booking described on the StoreHub pages and help-centre sections we checked, so ask StoreHub directly if you need it.
POS and payments
- Senvia: services, products, packages and top-ups on one screen; split payments across cash, card terminal, bank transfer, stored credit and online card; shop-defined methods like e-wallets recorded by name; daily close report and refunds with audit trail. It needs internet to sell, and if Wi-Fi drops it tells you immediately and never takes a payment twice.
- StoreHub: accepts cash, cards, e-wallets and QR payments including DuitNow, Touch 'n Go and GrabPay, with LHDN-compliant receipts and e-Invoices source. It also works offline and syncs later source, and sells its own hardware source. These are clear strengths, especially for busy counters with unreliable internet.
Packages and memberships
- Senvia: multi-session packages with expiry, stored-value top-ups with bonus credit, points, automatic tiers, vouchers, birthday rewards, and automatically billed monthly memberships (Full plan).
- StoreHub: membership tiers, points and automated birthday and milestone rewards source; cashback and store credits are covered in its help centre source. We did not verify multi-session service packages or recurring subscription billing.
Commission and payroll
- Senvia: commission rules by service, product, package and staff level; payroll runs with approval, adjustments and payslips.
- StoreHub: clock-in with Face Capture, shift reports and per-staff sales, with hours tracked for payroll source. We did not find service commission calculation described on the pages we checked.
Inventory
- Senvia: stock per branch, low-stock alerts, moving-average cost, expenses and P&L; purchase orders and goods received with the supplier system.
- StoreHub: low-stock alerts, composite (recipe) tracking, stock transfers and supplier management source; purchase orders and goods received notes in the help centre source. StoreHub's inventory is very strong for retail-heavy shops.
Multi-branch
- Senvia: each branch has its own hours, staff, rooms and stock, with transfers and cross-branch reports; extra branches USD 30/month.
- StoreHub: manage "2 outlets or 200" from one login, with role and location permissions source; included from the Advanced plan source.
Website
- Senvia: website builder with beauty templates, booking, online shop and member area; own domain on Full.
- StoreHub: a branded Webstore for online orders with delivery or self-pickup, synced with POS stock source.
Languages
- Senvia: English and 简体中文 for staff and customers.
- StoreHub: help centre in English, Bahasa Melayu, 简体中文 and Thai source; we did not verify the languages of the POS app itself.
Who each is best for
StoreHub may suit you better if you sell a lot of retail products, run F&B alongside services, want one supplier for POS hardware, need offline selling, or want built-in Malaysian e-Invoice handling and local QR payments. It is also built for chains with many outlets.
Senvia POS may suit you better if your business runs on appointments and sells packages, stored credit and memberships, if you want staff commission and payroll calculated in the same system, or if you want a booking website and online deposits on your own Stripe account. Senvia offers a 30-day free trial, and the migration guide explains how to bring customers, packages and credit across.
