E-mail and WhatsApp: which channel is used
- E-mail works without setup: Senvia POS sends your booking confirmations, reminders and receipts as "{your salon} via Senvia POS"; customer replies go to your e-mail (change it under Notifications → Replies go to). Press Send test e-mail to try it. If the card says e-mail reminders switch on once the platform enables them, nothing is needed from you.
- WhatsApp is optional: your salon pays Meta's message fees. Connect it below.
- Booking and receipt messages go by WhatsApp when it is connected and the customer agreed, otherwise by e-mail, otherwise they are not sent — Sent messages then shows "Not sent: no channel available".
- Offer e-mails contain an unsubscribe link; booking messages are not affected by it.
Connect WhatsApp (one click)
Messages come from your own WhatsApp Business number; you need the WhatsApp reminders add-on (Add-ons). Until then messages go by e-mail. Owner only.
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Press Connect WhatsApp with Facebook. Log in to Facebook, choose (or create) your business, WhatsApp Business account and phone number. The number must not be in use on the WhatsApp app.
- Back in the app the setup checklist runs by itself. Write down the 6-digit PIN that is shown once.
- Meta reviews your message templates; booking messages switch to WhatsApp once approved. Meta charges business-started messages directly to the payment method in your WhatsApp Business account.
- If one-click isn't available, use Advanced: connect manually (7 steps with your own Meta app).
Booking messages and reminders
- In Notifications → Reminders & rules turn on Send booking confirmations, changes and cancellations and Send payment links, receipts and payment problems.
- Set Reminders (hours before) (e.g. 24, 2), Quiet hours (branch time), Monthly WhatsApp cap and Preferred channel. Press Save.
- Sent messages shows every WhatsApp and e-mail message with exactly what the customer received.
Send a broadcast (群发)
- Open Broadcasts (owner or manager) → Templates → New template, write the text and press Submit to Meta / refresh — Meta must approve marketing templates.
- Press New broadcast, enter a Name, choose the Audience (a filter or saved segment), the Template and Channel.
- Choose When: Now or Later, check Preview (recipients, quota, estimated Meta fee), then Send or Schedule.
- Only customers with marketing consent receive broadcasts. You can also select customers in Packages & credit and press WhatsApp broadcast. Automations sends automatic messages.
